How to Get a Parrot in Minecraft
The best way to find and tame a parrot in Minecraft is by clicking on the ‘Parrot’ button. There is a parrot you may need to tame, but you may be able to find a better one if it is not near a spawn point. There are hundreds and hundreds of parrots, but here are a few tips you can use to find the best ones:
There might be a bird in your world that doesn’t look anything like the parrot you just found. Just hover your mouse over the bird and click on ‘Find Parrot‘ then hover over ‘Mute Parrot‘ and you will get the same bird.
If you click on a parrot that has eyes, it will automatically try to use your eyes, and you will not see its eyes. When you hover over an eye, you will get a bird in your world that has eyes. When you click the eye, it will stop doing this or turn its eyes away.
It seems that the first thing to try after clicking on a parrot is the eyes. Try not to click more than once, and then click twice more.
If you do see an eye on a parrot, try to hover over the bird. If the bird doesn’t turn its eyes back towards you, click on ‘Show Other Eye’ and try clicking on another one of the parrot’s eyes.

Another way to find out if a bird is friendly is to try hovering over the bird while you speak to it. It might sound like a lot, but it isn’t. Most birds will listen to you.
You will not find and tame any parrots in all three areas of Minecraft – the World, Nether, and End of the World. Parrots are always found and tamed somewhere in Nether, even if they are at a spawn point.

- There are about 150 different Parrots.
- Minecraft also contains over 20 types of different animals which can be found in Minecraft:
- Most of them spawn in the wild. A player in Minecraft creates some.
- Minecraft has been known to contain various parrots of several different types, such as the Black-and-White Parrots or the Black-and-White Parrots, both of which are grey:
- All of these birds have different sizes. There are at least five different species in-game.
- One parrot may have a different size than the other, or two have the same size, or the wings of one bird may be the same as those of another or all the wings are different sizes.
- The Parrots have some visual relationship between them. For example, sometimes a Parrot is smaller than other birds. Some are known for their colour scheme; others are known for their size.
- The easiest way to tame these parrots in Minecraft is to take the Parrot Potion from the pet bank. The Pet Potion will allow you to tame an uncivilized parrot that is already tameable by other players.
Taming Parrots in the Nether
The easiest way to tame these parrots on the Nether is to take the Animal Potion from the pet bank. The Animal Potion will enable you to tame an uncivilized parrot that is already tameable by other players but can be a nuisance if it attacks you. The Pet Potion has a cooldown of five seconds, but may be used again and again. The Pet Potion also has a cooldown timer and a warning message. The Pet Potion must be consumed before a new set of animals are allowed to tame it.
The Pets in the Nether can also have a cooldown timer, so you won’t be able to tame an animal until all the cooldowns are over. This is especially helpful when you are having problems with tameable animals.
Taming Parrots for the purposes mentioned in the article will require you to have a tameable pet in your inventory at the time of taming.
